Wildwood Dean's ALMOST WEEKLY REPORTS FROM RED RIVER
JUNE 4, 2007
LakeTexoma keeps coming down; it is down more than a two foot from its crest in May and down a foot since last week. Another week releasing a quarter of a million gallons per second and we should see the flood gates close. A 24 hour a day generating schedule would be welcome after so much high water.
The pictures are of the open flood gates. I was so impressed that I plan to take the schooner there, before they close the gates and get some better pictures. People along the banks were catching good stringers of stripers.
